After nearly twenty years of building and remodeling homes, Carl jumped on the opportunity to start his own company, CL Construction. This new endeavor was built on what he knew homeowners needed and wanted in a contractor.
Carl’s clients were friends and connections formed over the last twenty years, a trend that continued throughout the company's history. Carl also drew on industry relationships he had developed through his years in the business, creating a network of trusted and vetted tradespeople and vendors.
The Team Begins to Grow
Carl hired his first teammate who continues to inspire trust in our clients 15 years later.
The Perfect Fit
While both volunteering at their daughters' elementary school event, Carl and Bob Kackman hit it off, leading to Bob joining the team. Bob's new position as the Project Manager was a perfect fit and just what was needed to deliver an exceptional experience for the larger, complex projects that clients were requesting.
A New Chapter
Bob accepted an invitation to become Partner in the company. He brought clients and industry connections in addition to 20-plus years of construction management experience. With this new partnership also came a name change: CB Construction.
A Fresh Look
In 2017, growth continued for CB Construction, this time through a rebranding, a new snazzy logo, and their first real website. Carl and Bob could now reach new clients to help them reimagine their homes and improve their everyday lives.
Efficiency and Growth
A few years later, in 2023, CB Construction expanded once again. A new Project Coordinator began keeping an eye on the myriad details, allowing Bob and Carl to focus on long term company success.
This was a big move that has only improved the efficiency and effectiveness of what the company does best: delivering fantastic remodels and offering each homeowner the incredible experience they deserve.
